Web-based resources:

The U.S. government publishes statistics on CO2 emissions in two key places: www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/international/carbondioxide.html and cdiac.esd.ornl.gov. Various UN-related bodies have informative websites on climate issues. These include:

·        The UN Environment Program, at www.unep.org. Also, many great UNEP-related graphics are available at: maps.grida.no.

·        UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, at unfccc.int.

·        UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (cowinner of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize), at www.ipcc.ch. Sections of the IPCC’s important Fourth Assessment Report (2007) are also available in print.
