Global Exchange, How to Organize!  This twenty-page PDF file can easily be printed and has straightforward “how-to’s” on meeting with legislators and keeping in touch with them, holding issue-based house parties, organizing different kinds of demonstrations, media outreach, and more.

Student PIRGs, Activist Toolkit. The left sidebar has links to excellent “how-to” pages on organizing meetings, doing media outreach, and strategic planning. The site is focused on student activism, but most of the resources here are useful in any context.

Tipping Point Strategies, Toolbox. This toolbox is for people and groups working to improve their online organizing. The first of the blogs listed has good information, as does the slideshow at the bottom.

Training for Change, Tools. Great ideas for team-building in the context of any campaign for nonviolent change. Good for social change groups both old and brand new!

Vancouver Citizen’s Committee, The Citizen’s Handbook. Excellent tips on organizing community-based campaigns, from north of the border. The first section, “Community Organizing,” is particularly useful.
