The ground war has begun. Pray for the peoples of Gaza and Israel, especially the hardest hit and most vulnerable among them.

Work for a ceasefire now!

Pray for the Nazis of the 21st Century? Pray that they follow Sharon to Hell!

Here's the former Chief Rabbi of Naziland, Mordecai Elyahu, urging the "Nazi coice" against the Palestinians, and this a few years ago. He called for carpet bombing Gaza: "If they don't stop after we kill 100, then we must kill a thousand," said Shmuel Elyahu, son of Mordecai, quoting his father. "And if they do not stop after 1,000, then we must kill 10,000. If they still don't stop, we must kill 100,000, even a million. . ."

Mordecai is considered one of the most knowledeable and respected Talmudic sages in Israel. And the vast majority of jews in Israel support the carpet bombing of Gaza.
These people are not human. May this monster race receive its due.

ugh. one monstrous comment followed by another.

Alas, here's the JP report of the "rabbi's" remarks from May of 2007.

Anybody know if other Israeli politicians or rabbis at the time bothered to challenge him? Did he ever back off from it?

Alas, one wonders if Eliyahu & son are like Kahane -- saying what far too many Israelis privately think, if they don't quite say publicly.

This also reminds me that all three of the abrahamic faiths have ayatollahs, "reverends," and rabbis who preach "holy war" -- by any means.

There are no monster races.
